Venus Viva is a non surgical skin resurfacing and tightening system that may help to address visible signs of skin ageing and damage. The technology uses fractional radio frequency energy to gently warm the deeper layers of the skin, with the aim of supporting the body's own collagen and elastin response.

NanoFractional Radio Frequency
Venus Viva uses a patented NanoFractional Radio Frequency tip with up to 160 micro pins. Each pin delivers a precisely controlled pulse of radio frequency energy through the surface of the skin into the deeper dermal layer.
The result is a grid of tiny micro channels surrounded by untreated, healthy tissue. This fractional approach is the key to the technology, the surrounding intact skin supports faster healing and less downtime than traditional ablative resurfacing methods.
Paired with SmartScan technology, the operator can adjust pattern, density and energy for each treatment area, allowing a level of customisation that is suited to the individual skin concern and skin type being treated.

The Science of Skin Renewal
When the Venus Viva applicator passes over the skin, the array of NanoFractional pins delivers radio frequency energy into the dermis. This creates a controlled thermal effect at depth, where the structural fibres of the skin live.
This controlled thermal injury is designed to trigger the body's own natural healing response. Over the weeks that follow, the skin may produce new collagen and elastin, the two proteins responsible for skin firmness, elasticity and smooth surface texture.
Because the energy is delivered fractionally through micro channels, recovery is typically faster than fully ablative treatments. Most people experience mild redness and a warm sensation for one to two days. Individual results will vary.

Skin Preparation
On the day of treatment, the skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied to support a comfortable experience throughout the session.
The Treatment
The Venus Viva applicator is passed across the treatment area in a precise pattern. Most sessions take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated.
Recovery & Results
Mild redness is typical for one to two days. Visible changes may begin to appear over the following weeks as the skin's natural renewal response progresses. Individual results will vary.
Pre and Post Care
A short list of considerations to support a comfortable treatment and the most refined possible result. Your clinician will provide a full personalised care plan at your consultation.
Before Your Treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure and active tanning for two weeks before treatment
- Discontinue retinol and active exfoliants 5 to 7 days prior, as advised by your clinician
- Stay well hydrated and arrive with a clean, makeup free face
- Disclose any new medications or changes to your medical history at consultation
- Allow time after the appointment for the topical numbing cream to take effect
After Your Treatment
- Expect mild redness and a warm sensation, typically settling within one to two days
- Avoid direct sun exposure and apply a broad spectrum SPF daily during recovery
- Use a gentle cleanser and recommended post treatment moisturiser for the first week
- Avoid heat, saunas, strenuous exercise and chlorinated water for 48 hours
- Pause active skincare ingredients such as retinol and AHAs until cleared by your clinician
